Declan Hogan

Declan Hogan is one of Ireland's leading kitchen Architects. After graduating from W.I.T, Declan began his career in architecture at an established Mullingar practice. Working on public, commercial and residential projects he managed projects of all budgets and scales. Further spells with a Libyan architect and a Tipperary based practice broadened his design spectrum.

Concurrent with this, Declan did some design and presentation work for a kitchen manufacturer when they were tendering for larger projects. He found that this more personal area of design was more fulfilling than large scale commercial design. These kitchens actually impacted the way in which people lived every day.

He switched his focus completely to kitchen design and took up a job as manager of Bracken Kitchens. After being commissioned to design a showroom for Ireland's leading kitchen component supplier, he took up a position there as their Italian kitchen manager. He has spent the past 5 years sourcing the most suitable kitchen brands in Italy and distributing them throughout Ireland through a network of kitchen retailers.

The largest Italian kitchen manufacturers cucine LUBE were keen to further their business in Ireland, so they appointed Declan and his company 'Kitchenspace' the national distribution rights for their kitchens.

Declan has gained a reputation as one of Ireland's Kitchen Architects. He has given many kitchen design seminars, most notably he is retained annually for his seminar at the Ideal Homes Expo in the RDS spring show.

Declan is an exceptional designer and is generally perceived as a charismatic and entertaining speaker.
